Hey guys.
So what is everyone doing/dressing as for Halloween this year?
Brandybuck & I are going to a local casino lounge for their Halloween party with all of our co-workers. They're going to have a costume contest there as well. But I still haven't been able to decide which costume to dress in. I have a pumpkin-headed lumberjack, Jason Vorhees, a Victorian vampire/witch, 3 different Renaissance costumes..& probably some others that I can't remember right now. LOL!
Sincerely, Laurasia

heya, I'm seriously envious of you. I haven't dressed up properly for halloween since I was a child. n even then, most people ignored their doors.
Last time I dressed up was 4 years ago, n was in my top 5 most embarasing day lists. Spent the whole night in a crappy too-big top n listening to people say how stupid I was behind my back.
For me, halloween will just be another day. possibly with some door ignoring, since mom never buys Haloween candy anymore, n I feel terrible answering the door to the hopeful "trick of tweatttt" n telling them "no candy for chu". N Christmas will probabbly be the same thanks to the government telling us that mom is well enough to work when she's worse than ever (and so taking away her medical benifits)
Though on a bright side, I may be going to a friend's 21st 6 days later, if I can work up the courage. and money to buy my share of the drinks.
As for costumes, as much as I love Jason V and Jack the pumpkin king, it'd be a crime to hide a hot woman's face. Whereas the vampire with and victorian clothes, both have wow factors (I assume it's the type of victorian clothes that put the wonder bra to shame?)
Got to remind those guys that the best ones really ARE always either gay or taken.

Oh we always dress up for Halloween - even if it's just to sit around the house & watch scary movies. LOL! I decided on going as an 1880s woman, since the leather lacing on my bodice decided to snap while I was tightening it. Without the bodice/corset the outfit lost its Victorian feel. LOL!
The Halloween party was great, though niether of us won the costume contest. 3rd place was a couple dressed as the "Spy VS Spy" guys from the Mad magazines....2nd place was a guy who built a replica of the Zoltar machine from the movie "Big" & was the genie inside of it...& 1st place was a woman in a huge, puppeted ostrich costume. The head was tall & puppeted from the inside of the body.
Unfortunately later on, after we got home, I became very sick & have been fighting whatever it is that I have ever since then.

Now that I was able to re-charge my cameras batteries, here are some pics from the Halloween party.... Brandybuck's costume... My costume... The first-place-winning ostrich... A guy that showed up as "The Geicko Money"... And I can't leave out our bird's cowboy costume.... Sincerely, Laurasia
