Two years ago I was on a Drama trip to Athens (I think it was Athens) GA, and I swear that while we were stuck in trafic I saw a ghost of a KKK member. He wasn't wearing the robe, but the hood. He was wearing jeans and an orange plaid shirt.
What makes me think he was a ghost? He... didn't look real, ya know? And a car passed by and he dissappeared. Kinda creepy.

Hi EBA. It sounds as though he may have been confused about what was going on. Or, perhaps the area where he was at was not part of the road when he was alive & thusly for him the road isn't there. Sincerely, Laurasia

Thing is, he was right at the tree line.
I know, I'm nitpicking. (Hits herself lightly on the head) I've got to stop being so literal.

Well, ghosts can be just as interested in us as we are in them. Perhaps he had been there observing for awhile & you happened to see him right befre he decided it was time to leave. Sincerely, Laurasia

I agree with Laurasia on this. I think that he was very confused as to why his "territory" was all of a sudden different.
Ghosts that freak me out the most (even though I have personally never seen one) are Confederate soldiers from the Civil War. I have always wanted to go to Gettysburg, but I think I would completely lose it if I saw an apparition like that.

As far as I know, though, it's the only ghost I've ever seen.

I saw a ghost when I was about 15. We lived in a house that made all kinds of weird noises. It was a tall man dressed in the Abraham Lincoln type of era. He was standing in the kitchen looking at the refrigerator like he was trying to figure out what it was. I think ghost who have been around for a long time probably spend alot of time wondering what all our newfangled thing are!
