I have a little theory about the biological clock.
When someone has a child, especially women. There is a very strong bond there. Both physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
There are many people today some that don't want to have children. There are also many who want nothing more than to have a child. This could definitely be the biological clock, programmed in us to procreate so we will grow.
But what if someone had a child in a past life, and loved that child so much that the maternal bonds stretched beyond death. So that in their next life they have this longing to be with their child or children again. I wonder if that turns up the crank on the biological clock for some people?
Any thoughts?

Hmmm... I never thought about that, seems like it could be, though. Were you saying that this person would actually give birth to their reincarnated child, or that they would simply want to have a child (possibly not understanding the past life connection) and it would not necessarily be the one they had in a past life? I know a lot of people believe we reincarnate among our family anyway; though I have never really thought this, possibly because I am not close to my family. I am one of those people who never wants to have children, or at least my logical side does not want to; the emotional side sometimes does. I wonder which side the biological clock would be on?

I dont think it is very likely that the biological clock you speak of would stretch beyond death. It may be possible in some instances where a habit energy from past lives gets carried over but I think most of the time, that drive to reproduce may result from causes and conditions of this life. I think what you are saying can happen.....sometimes

I don't mean that the biological clock extends beyond death. I meant more that the spiritual and emotional connection between the mother and child or father and child can create a bond so strong that it transcends death. But if the person is not aware of any of their past lives or they may not even believe in them in the first place. They might think that they have the natural biological urge to procreate when in actuality they are trying to reconnect with their child or children.
As for how reincarnation happens, IE random family lines, mystical orders or biological families I am honestly not sure if its one or the other. Personally I think people can be reincarnated into the genealogical families, mystical orders and random families.

Hi Kirsty. I don't like to discount much, so I'd have to say that it's probably possible. It may not happen much, but I see no reason why it wouldn't happen. Also, there have been cases were parents & children have been reincarnated into the same roles. (Meaning a mother giving birth to the reincarnation of a previous child, for example.) Considering that, in many cases - not mine though , family ties are the strongest within our lives. Amanda & I have seemingly almost always reincarnated with one another & we aren't family. Close friends have a tendancy to so this as well, so why shouldn't a parent & child? Sincerely, Laurasia

I agree with Laurasia on this as well..I certainly do not see why not that bond would not be there when it is in other relationships. Like Laurasia said, her and I have reincarnated together numerous times, and the bond is still going strong.
