is anyone else a musician? and if so, what do you play and how long have you been playing and all...
I am a pennywhistle player and have been playing for several years....I can play some of the stuff from Fellowship of the Ring(in a beginnery sort of way) and some Celtic music and a bit of rag time....oh and some really cool victorian/edwardian stuff from a vintage sheet music web site....

Hand me any kind of saxophone and I can play it. I've been playing the alto for 7 years now, just now playing the tenor in jazz band and concert band. The trumpet I can play (but only because my ex played it and I started fiddling with it). I've played the piano since I was 3, for about 15 years now. Yep, that's it. My favorite to play I would have to say is jazz. -Stitch

hmm lets see piano by ear for about 2 years, Flute for 7 years, piccolo *spell check*(my spelling really bites!) for 3-4 years and i dunno if you count vocals but some do...i've been singing for 14 years but only 3 years as part of a choir. I love to sing/play jazz and country the most!

Hi Delfynasa. I'm what you would call a "musical dabbler". When I was in school I played the trombone in the band. I used to be in a few garage bands & I played various instruments in those including guitar (which I did take lessons for for a couple of years), drums (which I never took lessons for, but picked up by ear) & the main one, my voice. I've also played a bit of keyboards/piano & ocarina. I once tried to play the violin, but the result was less than harmonious. So the instruments that I'm fairly descent with our my voice, trombone, guitar & drums. Sincerely, Laurasia

I dabbled in guitar playing when I was in high school. I was obsessed with Kurt Cobain and wanted to play just like him. I took guitar lessons for about a month, and then dropped them because I was doing allright on my own. The thing that I do the best is sing..whether I am any good or not is usually left up to interpretation.

Hey boogieman, how about some Kenny G? ;D
Oh yes... the sax love (band thing). As stated by one of my good friends, and also a sax player....
"We talk with our music, depending on the mood of the day, and oh man... the harmonies, undescribable. One of those things you have to hear. You're leaving this year. I'm not gonna be able to look to the left and say "this needs a harmony" anymore cuz u wont be there." -Risse
Yeah, I think it's safe to say I love music.
