"Minden Allat Orul Az Tavasznak" by the new World Renaissance band.
This song is 16th century Hungarian.
Minden allat orul az tavasznak, Vigan varja nyllatsat roszaknak, Hajtja magat sok szep madar szonak, Keleti lesz as szep leanyoknak.
ENGLISH TRANSLATION:
All creatures love spring. All await merrily the opening of roses. All listen to the sweet song of the birds while each beautiful maiden arouses desire.
I watch partners walk with one another. All ugliness turns fair. Only death can seperate lovers, only greed can trouble them.
The mountains & valleys ring with the nightingale's song. I watch the trees begin to sprout while Love blossoms in young hearts.
But alas, for me, pitifully alone, there is no joy in my heart. The Spring means nothing to me for the one I love is far away.
If only you would know my sorrow, my sighs for you, my tears night & day, perhaps then you would pity me.
Sincerely, Laurasia

This song I really care for as well. I think that it is because it is one of the only places that I can hear the Hungarian language sung so beautifully. I think I am partial because I have roots in Hungary.

Hi Brandybuck.
Indeed. I bet that if we let your mother listen to this song, she would understand at least part of it. LOL! This is also one of my favorites from the band. There music is simply awesome. It echoes Middle-Earth superbly. Certain songs just...feel Rohhirc, Gondorian, Hobbitish, etc. Such as "We Be Soldiers Three". That song just screams Rohan. ;D

I agree with you completely on this love. I believe that this is also evident in "Fortune My Foe". I tend to think of Boromir or Frodo whenever I hear it.

Yes! "Fortune My Foe" has always made me think of Boromir. Whenever I hear it I can just see him singing it to himself while riding on his journey to Rivendell.
Sincerely, Laurasia
