No matter what holiday you may be celebrating this year, what are your plans? I will be spending Christmas with my beloved Brandybuck & her family. With the mandatory Christmas phone call from my family of course. We'll be eating a big dinner of ham & all of the fixings. Along with my homemade pumpkin pie & various other desserts. Before the actual holiday there is going to be a Christmas party at work that I'm making peanut butter pies for. And the gift that I'll be giving to whomever my recipient is will be chocolate-mint cookies, made with Andes Creme de Menthe candies. Brandybuck, her brother & I will also be going on our annual weekend Christmas shopping trip. ;D So what is everyone else doing? Sincerely, Laurasia

I think you about summed up our holidays, luv. *hugs*
Except...the annual New Years Eve feast where we eat until we are sick! (not recommended by the way). We will be having hot wings and lasagna among other things. Then on New Years Day, my mom will make stuffed cornish hens. YUMMY!!

As Laurasia already knows, I got my Christmas wish. Of course, Christmas with the family, and here and there for this party, or that party. It only sucks because my birthday is so close to Christmas, so that usually goes unnoticed. :\ ~On the bright side!~ On the 27th I'm heading off to TN! Staying with my baby until the 3rd so my New Years is going to be by-far, the best ever!!!! Yes I'm very excited about this in case you can't tell.

Laurasia and Brandybuck . That sounds like a perfect christmas . , shopping , food , family and peanut butter pies ! Brezo , I am delighted for you too that you'll be spending your time with your love too. I hope you all have a wonderful time and enjoy every minute of it. For Yule , to make a bit of an effort , im collecting pine cones with the kids and spraying them with spray snow and tied with ribbons to decorate the house. Then were going to leave some in the park as a gift for the trees who provided them . Im off work around the 22nd for 2 days non, stop shopping.and have an early dinner at my Dads with him and his girlfriend and her 9 year old daughter Eden. then later on myself and the kids will be up in my Mams . My friends all live locally so i should get to see all of them at some stage ;D. I love the atmosphere of christmas , especially around the kids and the whole Santa pretence . Both mine still believe in Santa .

Thanks Brandybuck. The last few weeks iv been doing extra work face -painting at various parties dressed as ( you guessed it ) an elf , so money is ok this year .Last night my firend had a girls night in for us all , with a kareokee machine for the Playstation2 ,and playback so we could listen to our deranged howlings afterwards .My jaw was sore from laughing. Christmas is one of the only times we all actually make time to see each other all in a group . We have been friends around 27 yerars, and they are all like sisters to me . Its nice if you can get to spend sometime with those you value and who value you too.

I completely agree with you. I think that it is awesome that you were able to maintain bonds with your friends for that long. Lifetime friendships are very hard to come by.
