Alright, this is going to sound extremely strange, but hey, we all have our wierd/eccentric sides. I have come to the decision that my waking life is not nearly as exciting as my nightmares, which usually involve Darth Vader, Voldemort, or wandering lost in the wild. Scary though they definitely are, the boredom of everyday life is becoming far more terrifying. So, have you ever heard the warning that if you eat too much candy on Halloween you will have nightmares? Well, I have decided to test this theory! I have a store of Reese's, Butterfingers, Tootsie Rolls, Twix, and Crunch ready for this scientific experiement. (This is really the kind of thing we should do in lab classes.) I think I am quite ready for (another) adventure!
Hey, I warned you it would sound wierd!

Well, someone is embarking on something interesting! I'm not allowed to eat pizza before I go to bed. It gives me crazy nightmares! Space ships, water monsters, evil highlighters (don't ask). It's wierd to say the least. Don't make yourself sick eating all that candy twilight!

Aelish, Let me know how it goes..nothing wrong with a lab experiment after all. I find that too much coffee within a few hours of going to bed tends to give me either insomnia or nightmares.

Hi Aelish. Oh my, we are feeling a bit eccentric aren't we? Well, let us know how it goes. And remember to brush your teeth after eating all of that or you won't be able to sleep due to toothaches. I would wish you sweet dreams, but that would kind of defeat the purpose now wouldn't it? So...have a really nasty, but interesting, nightmare kiddo! Sincerely, Laurasia

Oh my, we are feeling a bit eccentric aren't we? Eccentric, who? Results of this experiment: no nightmares; lots of sugary goodness But you know what they say, that in order to either prove or disprove a theory the experiment must be performed multiple times. Ah, perhaps next year, or at Christmas. ~Aelish~

Hi Aelish. Yeah they all count. LOL! You'd better watch it though. You keep going on like this & you may just develop a blood sugar problem. Also, aren't you supposed to test these sorts of things on more than one test subject? Sincerely, Laurasia

Apparently you get wierd dreams if you eat anything funny or too much of anything, although I never noticed it. You know, you've probably heard someone saying after they've described a nightmare or strange dream, "it must havebeen something I ate." But maybe with candy on Halloween it's just part of the spirit of the holidays. Or here's another theory I just thought of. You know how mothers are always telling their children this so they won't eat too much candy that day? And you know how some people believe you can change the world with mass thought, even if it unconsious? Well, maybe all their collective warnings snowballed into this great curse! They've unconsiously made this so! I wonder if our Circles can protect us from the evil, candy-despising curses of the mothers? Perhaps this is why I did not have nightmares! Alright, I'm getting a little carried away here. That's too bad that you don't have Halloween in Greece. Maybe you could get a group to try and start the tradition! (the tradition of Halloween that is, not the gorging on candy to have nightmares tradition . . .)
