OSTARA EGG PAINTING
Following is a list of some more common symbols & their meanings that witches paint on their Ostara eggs:
SUN: Young God, God of Light, Inspiration
MOON: Triple Goddess, Lunar Mysteries
STARS: Silver Wheel, Goddess
RAMS HORNS: Horned God, Nature's Life Force, Fertility
DEER OR STAG: Prosperity, Fertility, Horned God
ENCIRCLING BANDS: Magick Circle, Wheel of the Year, Eternal Life Cycle
RAKE OR HOE: Agricultural Growth
WAVES: Water
OAK TREE: Strength, Wisdom

I used to egg-paint during this season, at grammar school. However, Easter was what it was celebrated then.

Yep, Easter is the "Christianized" name of Ostara - so it's pretty much the same thing. We make up dozens of Ostara Eggs every year...& then pig out on Deviled Eggs afterwards. Sincerely, Laurasia

I love decorating eggs! The brighter the colors, the prettier they are in my opinion. I have been decorating eggs ever since I was 9 months old believe it or not.
