Hello everyone. I just thought that this little poll would be a good way to get this forum off & running. I would personally have to go with a smattering of many, though I don't listen to much country music anymore. Sincerely, Laurasia

I love a wide variety of music, and it usually depends on the mood I am in, or what I am doing. When I am relaxing (reading or writing), I like either classical or renaissance music playing lightly in the background. When I am meditating I like Dead Can Dance or my Zen nature cd's. If I am angry or have a lot of energy to burn, I like rock or metal . Now, New World Renaissance Band I could listen to anytime!!

Wow! There are so many that I like, I never know what to say to this question. So I put a smattering of many. Like you Brandybuck, fpr me it mostly depends on what mood I'm in.

I'd have to agree with Brandybuck on this one... and I though I was the only one who listened to them! Everyone I know is completely out of the loop when I talk about them. (My mom on the other hand took it upon herself to scratch up every CD that had DCD on it and deleted everything out of my music file on the computer. )

Wow Stitch! She acted like that over Dead Can Dance?! Weird. It's not like it's death metal or anything. LOL!
Sincerely, Laurasia

Laurasia, you also have to remember who we're talking about. She said I didn't need to be listening to that satanic crap.

LOL! I just realized that there was a selection to choose for "smattering of many" so I just now officially entered my poll result. Sorry Laurasia.

I listen to all types of music mostly folk or 80's pop , sometimes classical . Some of the british bands are nice to . Keane and Coldplay being my favourites. R.E.M always cheer me up and the Pet shop boys. A friend of mine asked me to listen to Easier to Run by Linkin Park so they are the closest i got to metal so far.

I mostly listen to rock or metal, but I sometimes listen to classical. I also like to confuse people by telling them I listen to "grunge".
