~Cedric~
Cedric walked into the common room after practicing on the Quiddith pitch. He was exhausted. He pushed himself too hard flying . He could still feel the effects of the terrible cold..more now than before. He felt his head began to get woozy.
Cedric flopped down on one of the sofas, hoping that no one would come in..at least for the time being. He really cared for his housemates, but he did not want them to come in and see him like this. He tried to lift his head from the pillow on the sofa and found it hopeless. The world immediately began to swim from the exertion. He decided to give in to what his body wanted him to do. Cedric closed his eyes and fell into a deep but troubled sleep.

Cedric heard someone enter the common room, and he thought that it was one of his housemmates. He had been to see Professor Snape, and he had given him some medicine to take. However, he was still so very tired that it took him a moment to look up. He vaguely saw the outline of Professor Snape posting a notice on the announcement board. He opened his mouth to speak, but realized that his lips were still to dry to form the words quick enough.
By the time he managed to croak out a weak "Hello....Professor.." Snape was already gone. He would look at the board once he got a little more sleep.

***********
After rushing from the Great Hall, Cedric almost ran into Madam Sprout when he entered the common room. He made sure that it was okay with her if he took a short trip to Hogsmeade. Seeing the light in his eyes, she agreed with a smile.
Feeling very grateful, Cedric rushed to get his traveling cloak, and checked to make sure that he had enough galleons with him. Quickly, he rushed out of the common room.
