Heh,yes boogie,I guess in a way we were both right I'll have to give the subject of growing up with a parent who is a psi vampire a little thought before getting back to you on that,Laurasia Starting a new thread on the subject,as you suggested,is probably the best way to go about it...but where to begin? It's not something that I've ever really discussed with anybody else before. On the few occasions that I've tried to bring the subject up with others in the vampire community they've either shrugged the matter off as unimportant/unlikely to have affected me at all during childhood or have outright accused me of being ungrateful towards and even hating my mother.I've even had two very outraged psi vampires who accused me,along with all sangs,of believng psis to be in some way 'inferior' to sangs(which truely puzzled me at the time-if anything psis,by not needing the actual blood, surely have an advantage over us sangs?but anyway...) and insisted that no mother,no real mother that is,would ever do such a thing as to feed off their own growing child Still,I'll give it a little more thought, try to get things organised in my head, then begin the new thread(if no-one beats me to it that is )

Hi Stormdancer. Don't some people just peeve you off in the worst way? "A real mother would never harm their own child." What planet are they living on again? Do they not see the news? It's not exactly a rare thing to have happen. By all means, feel free to start up a thread whenever you are ready. Or PM me if you are more comfortable with that. Though you won't need to worry about being flamed here, I won't tolerate it from anyone & I'm sure that my members know that. I like to think that my members here are of the calibre that they would never do such a thing to someone else anyway. I absolutely will not judge you, especially on such a personal subject as this. ~hugs~ Sincerely, Laurasia

Thank you LaurasiaI'll probably start a new thread,I guess(I'm not really one for actually beginning threads usually-never know how to start, what to write),but you may yet have a confused PM or two inflicted on you ;)The thing is,my mother is a very,um,well, touchy subject with meThere were many problems with her, beside her feeding, that were on-going throughout my childhoodbut that best wait for the new threadI'm sure you're right that none of the members here would try feeding anyone that sort of nonsence or be so insensative-they seem to be grand folk.

Could be a number of things the way I see it. (and other members correct me if I'm wrong) 1) a sang that knows how to feed as a phsy. 2) a phsy. possibly with a blood fetish 3) ?
They do exist, the only one's I know of are sangs who've learned to feed as a phsy for many reasons. Sorry if this isn't much help.

Hi Lovemeorhateme. Yes there are some vampires that can feed through both means (psionic & sanguinarian). As Stitch mentioned though, in most cases of a vampire being both it is a Sanguinarian that has learned how to also feed in the other way. That does not mean that all Sanquinarians can learn to do this however. In the case of a vampire being born with ability of feeding through both means & what to call themselves...I suppose simply "a vampire" would work quite nicely & if they were asked to elaborate on which kind then they could explain the situation. Sincerely, Laurasia

Ok I have a question. If a Sanquinarian wanted to learn how to feed as a Psi how would they go about it?

Thanks guys and i think i'm just a sang that knows how to feed through the energy of others as a way to get by when i can't go about feeding anyother way. I don't know it's weird...I do know how a friend of mine taught himself to feed as a psy FireStorm...he said he read and trained to see the energy i guess that would be and ora of some one and absorb it ... I'm not sure the exact proceedure though...i can always ask and make a post on it if you all would like...

Hi Lovemeorhateme. If a Sanguinarian wanted to try Psi feeding they could simply try contact feeding & see if anything happens. Though remember that not all Sanguinarians are able to "learn" how to do it, as sometimes it simply does nothing for them. I think that I'm right to assume that you are from the Realms, right Lovemeorhateme? If so, try running a search for "contact feeding" on that site. I'm sure that I have something up on there somewhere about it. I'll try to get something up on this site regarding the process ASAP. Sincerely, Laurasia
