~The Meaning of Life~
As she walks, she ponders the meaning of life...
There are many different paths that she treads. Through the city streets, into the ghettos and subways. All around her disease and death run rampant. An old man sits alone on a corner... with nothing but an empty whiskey bottle by his side. A young girl with a rounded belly huddles in a doorway... with no place to call her own. Police tape stands guard over the chalk outlines. And still the girl continues walking... out of the labyrinthe of the city.
Her next path leads her into a country lane. All about her she can hear the voice of nature. From animals to the whisper of trees, she can hear everything...and ponders. In silence, she observes the beautiful scenery. The sun is setting in the distant horizon. She learns all that she can...then moves on.
The final path of her journey takes her inside... into her own mind to focus on all she has learned. She has seen much negativity... as well as great beauty. As she sits in stillness, everything becomes clear. And what is the meaning of life? She has discovered that there is not one single path. Life has different meanings for everyone. Through her study... she has found the meaning of her own.

Now if that doesn't get you thinking, I don't know what will. It seems to be a constant question for many of the people I know as well as myself. What is the meaning of life?
Brandybuck.... this one isn't great... it's awsome!

Hi Brandybuck. I have to agree with Stitch. Awesome. It sounds quite autobiographical, my little Buddha. Sincerely, Laurasia

Thanks a lot! I can honestly say that a lot poured out of me with this one. You truly know me Laurasia, don't you? It is very autobiographical. It is a reflection of all that I have come to understand about even the most negative of circumstances. It reflects the spiritual growth that I feel that I have acheived. Thank you both so much for your kind words. It is resonses like these that make me long to keep creating. My goal has always been to touch just one person with my work..thank youu guys.
