lmao ohhh? like what? *challenge*
Laurasia is unemployed now too? how sucky.
and yeah, I let my hair grow right after I left high school and didn't cut it once up till when a friend of my moms cut it off WITHOUT PREMISION. before it was cut that time, it was down to my butt (think FFVII Sephiroth long) this time it was just down past my shoulder blades. and I've always had long-ish hair, my entire life.
A girl shaving her head is pretty extreme, were you a punk or something? (and I've only ever seen one girl look hot that way, I think she called her hair style a death-hawk)
And your telling me! my head is freezing, not to mention going to sleep is hard without a cushion of hair to make me snug, and I still run my hand over my head to push my hair back, (my dad who shaved his head years ago, told me he still sometimes flicks his head to move the non exsistant hair out of his eyes)

Nothing wrong with a short hair cut. I like the change to be honest. Makes me feel a little more confident too

I was an obvious Goth when I was younger. You know, a teenager needing everybody to visual see exactly how different they are. I'm still a Goth now, it's just a different more internal kind now. So I no longer feel the need to have such an extreme look. Actually I hadn't planned on fully shaving my head. I had the bottom half of my head shaved for a while. (Like I said, my hair is so thick that when I wore it down you couldn't even tell that the bottom half was gone.) That made my mother happy. However, I decided to get the top half dreadlocked. Unfortunately I got caught in a downpour shortly afterwards & the messed up dreads had to be shaved off. That made my mother cry. She even went so far as to put one of my dreads in the family bible. LOL! I was so relieved to not have 10 pounds of hair on my head that I just had Amanda keep shaving my head. So I was bald for about a year. After that I was sick of not having hair anymore so I let it grow back.

ahh yes, female goths. One of the greatest things ever to happen to the world. If only there were more goth girls around where I live, it's just all girls wearing fluffy coats n lots of bling n 2 tons of make up n jewlery. might explain why I preffer online relationships so much. Sorry to say Laurasia but I've always thought dreadlocks look horrible on white girls. they look fine on black girls but just look greesy on white girls (girl I fancies in school started having dreadlocks, went from tottally smitten to whatever in a minute). and my mom did the same thing as yours with my ponytail (though we don't read the bible so she put it in a plastic bag. how long did your mom keep your dreadlock for? and I can understand the weight thing, it's hard to realise just how much your hair weighs untill you realise it's gone. but my fave thing by far is still, 5 mins to wash, shampoo, rinse n dry my hair instead of hours, and no brushing, none whatsoever (though I do still do it as a joke sometimes, then ask my mom if it looks ok) When you say shaved, did you just use electric clipper or whatevery ou call them, or did you actually use shaving cream and a razor (and turtle wax)?

n to shadow, you shaved your head too? guy or girl? gawd there goes my originality *sob* kinda creepy realising everything original you do, 10 other original people did too (like at this A4e thing I'm at, I already met like 2 other guys with long hair, denim coats and jeans (one of them even had the exact same coat) and they like anime and manga and the same music. I was like *points* OMG I HAVE A CLONE! untill I found out he was older, which made me the clone of him. Sucky

LOL! That's okay, Trojianmaru, I don't have dreads anymore. Nothing even like them. In fact, I even stopped dying my hair a few years ago & let it go natural. (I think that I'm one of the only 31 year olds who actually likes their greying hair!) The dread that my mom took....she still has it in the bible! It won't leave that bible at least for as long as she's living. Oh no, no electric razors...I hate those things. Once they start going dull they stop cutting hair & start pulling ot out...ouch! We would lather up my head with shaving cream & she would use a regular razor on my head. I never waxed my head.....though I did use to wax my eyebrows off when I was a teenage as well. LMAO!

Laurasia, glad to hear you went au natural, and yes, I've known many many 30-40 year old women both married with kids and unmarried party animals and not once have I heard of one not dying her hair. I hope my mom loses my pony tail, but doubt it. She still has my baby teeth (which is a lil creepy n I tried to steal them back once n burry them but she stoped me) and that just reminded me of an episode of supernatural where a ghost was haunting a school bus and he was able to haunt it cause his dad kept his pony tail in his bible (course then the ghost kid posses another kid and from then on whenever he posessed he took the hair with him so he could haunt wherever he wanted.)
And I know what you mean about the razors, hurts almost as much as when my mom used to insit on brushing my hair. XD so you were sqweeky clean! and on friday a guy at our work place did the eyebrow thing. looked like a idiot.
n shadow, I realised after asking that that i could of just checked your profile afterwards (dunno why i didn't edit it) and as for names, my memory is worse than a goldfish with amnesia.
and I had a really weird dream last night, one of those dreams where everything is normal, which is hwy they're so weird. but the weirdest thing was my hair was long again and seemed like it always had been to dream me. Not like super long like it was before, just like semi-long (see Shrek 2's Prince Charming)
