Yes Brandybuck, I mean the Byzantine Empire I know the whole history of it( I just didnt know how to spell it in English ) cuz its Greek and all, we learned it at school for about 2 years. In Greek its called "Byzandini Aftokratoria" or just "Byzandio" It wasnt actually influenced by the Catholic church cuz by the time that the Byzantine Empire was created there was no Catholic church. There was one Christian church and after a few hundret years they split. It existed actually for about 1000 years, created by a Roman named Konstandinos, till 1453 when the Othoman Empire(sp?) won the war and got into the city. That was the end of that empire and the last Emperor of Byzantine was again a man named Konstadinos(coincidence?). Anyway...I am talking too much, I just like history so much I don't even remmember what we where talking about...

Thank you for clearing that up theodora..I thought that is what you were referring to. I love history as well..however I have not been actively in study of that time era since high school 10 years ago..so I apologize for the errors in the history. I was in fact confusing it with a different regime years later.

One yr for Christmas my mother in law gave all her children a genology book with pictures of her side and her husband side.
My oldest daughter is into genology and has been going on line a lot looking things up. She has went pretty far back on info on my side of the family, ,my mother side and my dad side of the family.
A lot of the info confirm what we have in the genology book and somethings were spelled different on the records on the computer.

It is one of my interests. However, in Portugal, you'd have a hard time trying to access any data. Too expensive.
