We moved into a new house near the end of my eighth grade year. The first night I slept in the house I was scared to death. You know how you can sometimes walk into a room and get light headed and you know something isn't right? Well, that's how it was in my room. For the first few weeks someone would go into the kitchen to find plates broken on the floor, glasses, things slid off the counter, basically a mess every time you would turn around. I had a friend over one night (Amy) and I guess our little ghost didn't like her. She decides to open my top closet door. It's impossible to reach just standing and it makes this terrible noise when it's moved. Not just the closet door but things I would have on my dresser, in my dresser, hanging on the wall, anything that was mine I would find out of place or in the middle of the floor. I've been knocked out of the attic when nothing was up there but boxes. Now that I've switched rooms, she doesn't bother me. But if I fall asleep on the couch or something, I get this random cold chill all over. Maybe she just doesn't like me in her house.

Hhhmmmm. That's rather interesting actually Stitch. It seems as though whatever it is doesn't want you residing in that one particular room. I've seen similar things as to what you've described, but I've never heard of them stopping simply by changing what room the person sleeps in. Then again, if it is indeed a ghost doing this...They are/were people too. I suppose that they can be just as flight as the rest of us. Sincerely, Laurasia

Stitch,
When I was living in my old house I had some of the same experiences that you had. Not really things being thrown around and stuff, but I used to get the lightheaded feelings and the feeling that I was being watched and uneasiness. I think that I actually saw it a few times . It was just a black shadow that I could see out of the corner of my eye. I got the strong feeling that it was a masculine entity. He wasn't malevolent to use that term, but he wasn't the friendliest dead guy in the world either.

lol, you two... ah that's a different subject. The room I was in was hers. Her name was Ruth Bryant, our neighbors mother. Maybe she thought I would mess something up. I don't think she liked Amy (for obvious reasons) but then again you never really know. She doesn't bother me now. I just hope she doesn't decide to come back this Friday, Laurasia you know what I mean [shadow=blue,left,300]*runs off into the back doing the "happy dance" singing 'My Brittany's coming , my Brittany's coming'*[/shadow]

Well, that is definitly a good thing that she doesn't bother you anymore. As far as how she treated Amy, most spirits probably think that anyone other than the home owner in their "turf" is an invasion of their property. LOL. Stitch, I also know what you mean. For your sake, I hope that she doesn't decide to bother you this Friday either.

I have to second that. It would be ideal if everything went as smoothly as possibly this Friday. Sincerely, Laurasia

Well, if she does start bothering us I'll just go to my grandparents house or something. We'll be gone for the most part of the day and movies at night so... everything should go as planned.

Heya stitch Did she bother you that night Amy was over? im dying to know now. LOL
I had a similar experience in the apartment/flat i lived in before i moved to the one im living in now. There was nothing violent or things moved but the previous owners who had passed away were definitly still there . One night in bed i "overheard " 3 of them having a converstion about me living there. They let me know that although they didnt mind me being there temporarily , it wasnt my home , it was theirs and i would be moving out soon. I could always sence a negative presence in one of the other 4 bedrooms so i never went in there ,. it was riddled with damp and had black patches of fungus on the walls.so i avoided that room for the few years i lived there. I heard from neighbours that the father had passed away and the eldest son died of Aids in that room. I dont know who the 3rd female spirit was.

Yeah, like I said, I don't think she liked Amy for obvious reasons. Now that I think about it... could she have been doing that for my own good? Because everytime she did something, Amy would leave the room. Hmm... now I've got myself wondering again.....
