I agree that it is mostly a matter of faith. However, when you get physically sick from the recollections like I do at times, there is no doubting in my mind.

How do I find out if I had a pass life? Could a person be who they are in their current life because of something that happen in a past life?

Hadassah, I have most of a wonderful course that you can take in the sub-forum of this section. It works wonders for discovering things about your possible past-lives. Give it a try & see how it goes.

I had a very short recollection. I was with a group of other people and we were running towards a shelter. It was Berlin, and the air raid sirens were going crazy. The group of us were all running toward what looked like a deli or something (my guess is there was hiding areas under it.) The most poignant part of the recollection however was the fear that the air raids instilled in me.

Thanks for answering my questions. I have not had any flash backs of a past life. Does eveyone have a pass life or just a few?

Yes Hadassah, most people have lived before now. Then again, some people are what I consider to be "new souls". Now for a bit of an update. There's been a lot of things cleared up that were either rather vague or confusing. Okay...I went by the name Hans, I held the rank of Hauptsturmfurher, I worked extensively within the Nazi camp system, I trained at the Dachau camp, I was a camp commandant in Poland, I served with an Einsatzgruppen unit, I was a member of the SD. There are other clues that I am currently working through at the moment, but I don't want to post anything unless I have confirmed it.

Thanks Rowan. I've come to realize that this past lifetime is the way that seems to effect me the most in my current one. Which isn't always a good thing considering the things that I did during that lifetime. Then again, there were good things about Hans as well. I truly feel that my natural empathy for the "villians" in movies probably comes from my connection to Hans. For example...Santino is my favorite character from Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, I've always felt so sorry for Gollum in The Lord of the Rings, Voldemort is definately my favorite character from the Harry Potter series, etc. I'm really able to get a feel for their inner motives & empathize with those feelings. And I have the exact same experiences with Hans' actions. Not that I'm saying I condone most of what he did during the War at all, just that I understand the motivation & mindset behind it. Sincerely, Laurasia

When you pick up clues from your past life, do you try to confirm it with research and history? I am sure it is cool when you find out the memories are actually real in history.

Well in most cases a person is unable to do so as they were not someone "famous" or the lifetime was so long ago that there are no records for individual people anymore. It definately is quite exciting to actually be able to find papers on Hans & find that they correlate with what I had previously remembered about his life. Then again, he also did a lot of things that I would rather not have actual reports to attest to. ~sigh~ Sincerely, Laurasia

Actually, yes, it is possible to find information about him online. In all honesty though, I'm not really all that comfortable with giving out his full name specifically because of that. I have this fear that others will read about the things that he did & associate them with me now.
Speaking of Hans...I had a horrendous recollection last night, this time about his death. Brandybuck had to actually come into the room & pull me out of the recollection as I was choking & ready to vomit. I had quite a healthy cry afterwards. I had thought the recollection I had one the road was going to be the worst of them, but I was proven wrong last night. ~sigh~
Sincerely, Laurasia
