I hate to say WE TOLD YOU SO!!! We knew that you would love them...30 Seconds to Mars is one of my favorite bands on the planet. I strongly recommend that you pick up their self-titled album..believe it or not, it is better than A Beautiful Lie.

Why wouldn't I like it? I think my favorite is Oblivion. Just my opinion, I like "A Beautiful Lie" better, not sure why. Probably because I can relate to more of the songs. I noticed something this morning about their second album. When you get a chance, listen really close to the begining of "The Fantasy" you can hear the guys laughing and talking.

You really like "A Beautiful Lie" better? Well the self-titled is rather....etheral. I'll tell you what though, listen to it a few times. When I first heard it I was a bit turned off as well, but (as you know) I now prefer it to the second album. It kind of just grows on you the more that you listen to it I guess. Yeah they're goofing around on each other. They're always messing around, they love to mess with people.

It took me awhile to admit that I liked the s/t better. You know, I was very protective over "A Beautiful Lie", because we were really pushing a lot of people to listen to it (the perfect Echelon member that I am.. ) So, it took some convincing of the heart strings, ya know? But at the end of the day, they are both awesome albums.

Ok... I'm probably real late on this one, haven't really been keeping up with them. Why did Jared cut his hair?!?!?!? Now he looks like Benjamin Burnley (Breaking Benjamin)

Got an example Brezo? All of the latest pics I've seen of him his hair is still at least chin length.

LOL! Oh yeah, his hair looks nothing like that now. That was the first single off of "A Beautiful Lie". Sincerely, Laurasia

Oh I know! I hate to admit, but the new album rubbed me the wrong way at first. (Then again, so did their debut album. But it is now my favorite of all their work. LOL!) I am in a better place in regards to the new album now though. My issue was with how loud the echelon is in the songs. I didn't like the fact that you really can't hear Jared over them. (I feel that any "gang shouts" & such should always be in the background behind the lead vocalist.) I've become more comfortable with it now though. Sincerely, Laurasia
