Ok everyone, here is the last installment for now...until I can find other sources as well. I hope that all have been able to get a little enjoyment as well as knowledge from this thread. * Chanting in its simplest form= Toning is a form of vocal meditation performed by chanting extended vocal sounds. Each vowel sound emits a different vibration, which can alter body chemistry and lead to emotional release, physical healing, and a heightened state of awareness. * SENSATION= It is amazing how a a simple touch can lift your spirits. Ask a loved one to give you a hug, hold your hand, brush your hair, rub your feet, or massage your shoulders. Then return the favor. (I know for a fact that this one works. * Chant a Mantra= Mantra, a Sanskrit term meaning " the thought that liberates and protects", is a sound used in meditation to balance the body and mind. A mantra can consist of a single syllable, a string of syllables, a word, or a phrase and can be repeated aloud or silently. * "Happiness is not a destination. It is the attitude with which you choose to travel."--Arit Desal * High in natural sugar, ripe bananas are storehouses of quick, healthy energy. They are a good source of potassium, magnesium, fiber, and vitamins b and c. Consume a few of these energy-boosting fruits each week. * Don't Worry= Worrying is unproductive and fills your mind with unecessary thoughts, time-consuming thoughts. It limits your ability to enjoy life and be present in the moment. Focus your thoughts on things that bring you satisfaction instead. * Try Tai Chi= Tai chee (pronounced tie chee) is a martial art form that grew out of Qi Gong. It consists of a sequence of 100 or more movements performed in a slow, deliberate, ritualized manner, gently flowing from one motion to the next. It is a powerful form of exercise for toning the body while harmonizing the mind and body. * Energy from thunder...Take a walk outdoors after a thunderstorm with lightning. Many people say that the negatively charged air resulting from the storm raises mental alertness. * One of the basic causes of illness is unhappiness and one of the greatest healers is joy.

Hi Brandybuck. Thank you for posting all of these wonderful suggestions. I really appreciate you adding information to the site. As for these latest suggestions...Yes, the touch suggestion is wonderful. I personally love to get my hair combed. I simply relax & melt almost instantly. I also adore the feeling of thunderstorms & other weather systems, though my feeding from them probably has a lot to do with that. Sincerely, Laurasia
