From what iv read , the chakras haveassociations that can help bring them back to balance , though i dont know if they would make a difference to a psi vampire. There are affirmations that help strenghten each charkra , musical notes that correspond, visualisation , and the meditation and crystals already mentioned. Also using the elemental associations ,like earth, air , fire , water , ether ,electricity, prana etc to stimulate or quieten the overactive chakras. Cleansing with the herb californian sage is another one. And essential oils can affect the chakras too. Reiki and crystal healing are the ones i use most.

Thank you for the further suggestions for balancing the chakras. I like to know of these types of things given my...condition. While balancing them isn't able to rid one of vampirism it is able to make the condition more manageable. ;D Sincerely, Laurasia

Thanks Laurasia . I have used the affirmations sucessfully myself but im not a vampire so i dont know what effect they would have but maybe its worth a try.Apparently when these truths are not honoured it unbalances the relevant charkra. The affirmations are supposed to be sacred truths based on the Hindu chakras , Christan sacraments and Jewish kabbala but they could easily be incorporated into any belief system. They are in order.
(1) All is one ......base (2)Honour one another....sacral (3)Honour thyself.......solar plexus (4) Love is divine power......heart (5)Surrender personal will to divine will.....throat (6)Seek only the truth......brow (7) Live in the present moment.......crown

what do you do with them? ^^^ please. You say them every day , at least 3 times each or as often as you can remember. Focus on each chakra one by one and envision the right olour and say the affirmation out loud . For example starting with your base chakra picture the colour red and repeat " All is one " a few times . Imagine your part of and connected to everything in the universe , ... your country , your family , your partner , the people in your job , the earth , those who share your taste in music ., clothes , values . everything about you.. See yourself joined to everything you can think of . you are a part of it and originate from the same source so really All is one.

I'm happy to announce that I have successfully pinpointed which of my chakras is causing my vampirism....my solar plexus. Through use of chakra readings & workings it has become apparent that this is the chakra that is consistently out of whack. I've also noticed that the symptoms that I personally experience when I have not fed sufficiently mirror the effects of this particular chakra being off-kilter (depression, self-destructiveness, anxiety, etc.), which only serves to solidfy the theory that the condition stems from the chakra being malfunctioning. Considering the fact that the specific set of symptoms each psi vampire gets from not feeding sufficiently could also be explained by their condition being caused by problems with a different chakra. I recently had a rather nasty learning experience that has led to all of these revelations. I had been stuck in a very nasty & unwavering bout of depression/anxiety for over 4 weeks. Going against my better judgement & past experiences I took myself to a doctor for it. I think that in the back of my mind I knew what he was going to do, even though I didn't want him to. I know full well what conditions the symptoms mirror, but I wanted his advice about trying certain herbs. My thoughts were starting to turn to the possibility that the problem was organic in some way since I had been feeding regularly trying to stop the symptoms. Like I mentioned I wanted to try herbs, but I naively let him talk me into trying an anti-depressant even though everything in me screamed no. I know how they have effected me in the past, but he claimed that it was "a very mild drug & people usually experience no side-effects". Well when you don't need them, you don't need them. I learned the lesson hard. Within a couple of hours of taking the drug my body went into anaphylaxis (sp?). Fortunately it never effected my breathing, but it tore me up from my mind right down to my toes. It was one of the absolute worst 30 or so hours of my life. On top of all of this the symptoms that caused me to see the doctor were increased dramatically. Amanda & I both knew that it had thrown my chakras severely out of whack, so once we both felt up to it we did a chakra cleansing/balancing. We weren't really ready for what we discovered. Yes my chakras were out of whack, we had expected that. But when we got to the solar plexus it was completely shut down & black. It had stopped spinning & had closed in on itself completely. The best discription that I can give is a tiny black rose bud that is completely closed. Tears immediately came to Amanda's eyes. We worked very hard on that chakra to get it back open & functioning to some degree. We also decided to start doing weekly cleansings/balancings to try & keep that chakra functioning to its optimum. I have to say that they have been helping immensely with the vampirism & the mood swings. I haven't had to feed as much or as often. And while the chakra never really gets to the bright vibrant yellow that it should be, we are now able to get it much closer than before.

Good to hear it Laurasia . The more you know about it the better . Actually my solar plexus is the one I have most trouble with too .At least you've learned a lesson . It should help immensly knowing where to focus . Sometimes I can feel the chakra "wobbling " but never closed down altogether . That must be a scary experience . Anyway , just to say Im glad your making progress with it .

Does anyone know, could a chakra be broken or severely damaged by living in a hellish environment as a child? When I was little, my siblings constantly harassed me and damaged my property, and my parents never did anything about it, and whenever I tried to stand up for myself my parents would throw me on the ground, beat me, put me in my room, etc. I developed extreme hatred and depression, and I often feel something like painful hunger around my solar plexus, even when I'm not hungry at all. I also have no work ethic, which I've heard can be associated with a solar plexus deficiency. Chakra damage or mundane psychology? I mean, I figure anyone with a defective chakra must've had it damaged in some lifetime, could this life be that one for me?

Im not sure about this but I dont belive that chakra can be broken or danmaged. I think it may break or off set its balance, or it could possibley redirect the flow. But Im not to sure. Any any point mental stress always affects every part of your body and the engerys within it.

Hi Doc.
Given what you have posted I would think that the problem is both with your chakras & psychological - both coming from the abuse. Meaning that you could benefit from both conventional forms of mental health treatment & chakra work.
As for chakras not being able to be permanently damaged or impaired.....they very much can. Case in point I think that I may have discovered the origin of my own psi vampirism (which I essentially think is what permanently impaired my solar plexus)....
I was doing some past-life work the other day though & had a thunderbolt go off in my head. I know that in one of my most prominent past lives that my soul split upon death. (I'm not sure if anyone here is familiar with this phenomena - but it is when a part of your soul literally divides from itself & starts its own cycle of birth & rebirth independant of the original soul. Ultimately two people end up sharing one past-life, with that particular past-life being the first incarnation for one of them.) Anyway, it suddenly occured to me....DUH! That is a he** of an event for the auric body/soul to go through! Isn't it logical to expect that something (namely one or more of the chakras) would be permanently impaired after such a thing?

Oh yes, that can definitly have a negative effect on your chakras....especially in childhood when your chakras are first beginning to develop. I agree with Laurasia. You would strongly benefit with chakra therapy. You do not necessarily have to see a professional to do this. There are many self-help books that you can try also. If you live near a large bookstore such as Borders or Barnes & Noble, there should be plenty to choose from. Leaf through the books at the exercises before purchasing, and find the one that would suit you best. If you need help, feel free to pm me anytime.

I'm not even sure if anyone acctually will look at this but i have a good reference for the chakra's. Check it out.
The simple guide to chakra,s and how to unblock them.
1. The Earth Chakra: Located at the Base of the Spine. -Deals with Survival/blocked by Fear. You must let go of whatever you fear is and relize that you have the ability to do something about it if it affects your survival.
2. The Water Chakra: Located in the Lower Pelvis. -Deals with Pleasure/blocked by Guilt. What do you blame yourself for? What ever it is, realize that it already happened and that the only thing you can do is worry about the present and the future.
3. The Fire Chakra: Located in the Stomache. -Deals with Willpower/blocked by Shame. What are you ashamed of? It is just something that must be put behind you.
4. The Heart Chakra: Located at the Heart. -Deals with Love/blocked by Grief. What is the source of your grief. LEt it b replaced with the feeling that it will all work it's self out if you wish it to.
5. The Sound Chakra: Located in the Throat. -Deals with Truth/blocked by Lies to Ourselves. What do you keep saying to yourself that you know is hurting you or is false. Those lies need to be delt with by telling yuorself the truth.
6. The Light Chakra: Located at the Center of the Forehead. -Deals with Insight/blocked by Illusion of Seperation. The ones you have lost, they are not gone accept in physical form. THey are with you spiritually and mentally. There imprint on your mind will last as long as you want it to. So they are never gone.
7. The Thought Chakra: Loacted at the Crown of the Head. -Deals with Pure Cosmic Energy/blocked by Earthly Attachment What are you attached to on earth. You must learn to let it go. earthly attachment is what keeps you from pure cosmic energy.
